My only volunteer was on my resume and they called.

"Do you volunteer?"

"Only when I'm job hunting."

If you have questions about the app, email pilot hiring. If enough people do, it may raise their awareness of a potentially confusing question.

Just curious if anyone has a general idea of what the training footprint might look like for a new hire?

Indoc takes a couple weeks, during indoc you’ll bid for aircraft training dates. Once you start aircraft training, it takes about a month. You could have up to a month off in between aircraft training and indoc, so the whole thing takes anywhere from 2 to 3 months.

Second this. Typically ground school is online these days. Then you'll do about 5 days of ground device training, followed by about 2 days off. Then 4 days of sim training with 2 days off, and another 4 days of sim training with your check ride. So initial training, including OE, takes about 1 to 1.5 months to complete. I had about 3 weeks between indoc and initial training. Enjoy the paid time off.

Hey guys.

I'm at a non-AA regional. 3600h TT (all civilian fixed wing): 2000h Part 121, 900h 121 TPIC, line check pilot, ALPA safety fatigue chairman and mentor. No check-ride failure, no DUIs, etc. However I don't have a 4 years degree yet (30 more credits to go). Should I even bother applying?

Yes, Apply. I’d apply at every place you would be interested in working.

Has anyone been invited to interview since they have re-opened their website for applications?
