Exactly. Plenty of WO guys at PSA/Envoy/Piedmont with current apps willing and wanting to come over now. However if AA is more inclined to keep us at the WO to keep them staffed and instead hire Mil guys with 10 hours 121 or ZERO than sorry but a lot of us will be pursing Delta/United/ ect. Better to get in now at a place that wants us than to wait another 3, 4, 5, 6 years for “flow”.

Send them an email and let them know you are available short notice. You could be in class in just over a week.

Just got the same email from AA Talent Acquisition saying I've been entered into the Recruiting Candidate Database. Doesn't appear to have much information when I login. Did you figure out if this is the beginning of the next steps? Has anyone else received a similar email? (note: received this two days after talking to recruiters at the RTAG convention)

Did you ever figure out what this email was about? I also just got an email from AA Talent Acquisition saying I've had a profile automatically created in the "recruiting candidate database." I'm curious if this is something everyone gets, or if it's the beginning of the next steps in the process. (note: I spoke with AA recruiters two days ago at the RTAG Convention)

They moved up a friend of mine who was due to flow later in November to the November 3rd class. Not sure why.

Good for him. Apparently PSA has been trying to hold on to guys as long as possible (i.e. the last class of a month) before letting them go. I suspect the only reason they haven't started withholding yet is that lots of guys are generating job offers elsewhere already.

For Delta at least, it's about 100ish personality type questions. They give you 2 statements and you select which one you agree with more and to what degree. You have to pick one but you can slightly agree, agree, or strongly agree with it. You're often faced with two good choices or two bad choices. Like "I don't know why I do the things I do" vs "I prefer to avoid people" or "I prefer to be in charge" vs "I like working with a team."
There's no real right/wrong or pass/fail. The company is looking for whatever they are looking for. And more specifically, they are NOT looking for whatever it is that they think will causes problems. No one can say who or what that is. So just send it and be yourself.
At least from other companies, if they don't like your results, they give you a 6-month reapply TBNT or even a 12-month.

They, and others that use these are looking for consistence, which means honesty.
If you try to be too smart by half, you will get tripped up.
My dad was in HR (non airline company) and administered and manually scored them. I would offer for him to talk to you, but it is a long distance call. He was born over 100 years ago.
