Pilot Skills Test

It’s literally math problems and symbol sudoku and flying via your mouse around obstacles in a tunnel. There’s practice problems in the assessment and nothing says you have to continue if you don’t want to start it. I’d be shocked if there’s prep that the practice problems can’t alert you of.

Is the pilot skills test a one and done thing? Once you take it is it on your application forever? Do you have an option to retake it after a period of time like the Organizational Fit Assessment? Curious if anyone’s heard answers to these questions from AA’s hiring department…

Glad I didn't pay ..
Just did the skills test. Yes it's pretty goofy and unrelated to the job - but that's the hiring world we live in.
I would have felt I had wasted my money if I'd paid for a practice service.
There are 9 tests, each with it's own time limit. I did not get the impression there is an overall timer running for completing all tests. As mentioned above, you get a thorough explanation, then a practice example that you can keep redoing
to practice until you want to take the test.
Take my opinion with a grain of salt as there is no way to know what the scores mean or even what a good, average or poor score is. Just take your time, make sure you read the instructions, practice as much as you want, then have at it.
I have no idea how much these tests affect your overall application score - so perhaps they are not a big deal at all. I don't have any internal recommendations so that may prevent me getting an interview and make the tests moot.
Good luck, I wouldn't waste money on a prep service for the tests.
