Dont forget to add the 2020 furloughs as a new "group". Although they all got paid and most ended up in a pretty good spot with minimal harm down, they all saw that the union and +50% of the pilot group didn't give a crap about them. There were guys picking up open time and premium all the time when we had pilots on furlough (this was before the big bailout when we had pilots really not getting paid). That's a great way to disenfranchise the most junior people very quickly.
I'm one of them. Before I was furloughed the **** captains said was pretty callous. No sympathy. Just "I was furloughed too" and "you'll be a better person for it" bulllllshiiiiiiid.
One of my last trips the guy asked me to buy him coffee. Lmao.
I managed to land on my feet with a job offer a month and a half later. But I know not everyone was as fortunate. Rough times.

That's a bummer that the third listers / BTL are falling apart. I had an uneasy feeling reading some of their post on "the line" but I guess it doesn't hurt to be realistic.

The Captain wanted you to buy HIM coffee? Unreal! Where were you based? Did the skipper have too many girlfriends down south to ask you for coffee?

Updating for context. The radar composite image I shared yesterday apparently updates every hour, which doesn't really help people if you're reading this thread from the start.
Below and attached is a more accurate render of the same radar composite at 0145Z on 14OCT2021 (around the time this thread was started).

This was the 3rd major meltdown that they have had in the last several months. Their operation sucks right now, they are overstressed and understaffed, and point to point routing means several cancellations if a flight is delayed along the way and they are running near 117 maximums.
If you had an overhead projector and some markers, and a globe, I could explain it to you.
