I have no sense of urgency - if this gets to the membership I'm absolutely happy with burning the whole ****ing thing to the ground and starting over. Doesn't matter if we're on the brink of a deep recession, I can wait a decade or more if that's what it takes to do this right. Let's see what the BoD does first.

I can wait as well, but a decade? That’s a bit much, massive pay cut over that period, and yes, pay rates matter too.

I agree. I'll wait until DA and UA AIP/TA or Spring of 2023 when the company gets desperate.

Yeah, you're right. I'm just ****ed about the entire situation. Went overboard with a little hyperbole.

Well the snap-up will be worthless because there is nothing here to pattern off of.

Unless I'm reading it wrong... snap up at DOS+2 only.

Pay Adjustments
1. If, on Date of Signing plus two years (DOS +2), Delta Airlines and United Airlines have both received increases in their respective pilot pay rates, then the American Airlines pilot pay rates will be compared and, if lower than the average of the pay rates in place at Delta Airlines and United Airlines on a weighted basis, will be adjusted up to the average; however, if only one of either Delta Airlines or United Airlines have increased pilot pay rates, then the American Airlines pilot pay rates will be compared and, if lower than the higher of the pay rates in place at Delta Airlines or United Airlines on a weighted basis, will be adjusted up to the higher of Delta Airlines or United Airlines, as applicable. In either case, the wage adjustment shall not exceed three percent (3%) of the DOS +2 pay rates. Aircraft weighting will be based on the operating fleet counts in the Company’s most recent SEC filing at that time.

I guess what I mean is this'll most likely cut the legs out from underneath negotiations going on at the others. 12/5/2 doesn't even make you whole on inflation. Hell, DLs FAs have received a 24.5% pay increase over the last three years.

Come on over. You'll be an ER captain by next summer.

You'll still be working under a 6 year old contract, but hey...
