Default Class dates

Hey fellas, anyone who’s maybe recently gotten a CJO, looks like they give you the option of waiting until all the PRIA stuff is done to take a class date. If you select that you prefer this option rather than going to class immediately, are there any negative consequences other than seniority of course? I’m probably overthinking, it just took months to get my stuff back from spirit and it gave me panic attacks thinking someone screwed something up, so I’m just curious.

I may be wrong, but if I remember right, the option to "wait" is not waiting for "PRIA stuff", it's waiting for the DOT drug test and fingerprints to clear, which isn't the same thing. Either way - I highly recommend choosing the option that gets you in a class sooner.

Like you said, the negative in waiting for the stuff to clear prior to getting a class assigned to you is - starting in a later class, hence losing seniority.
As a side note - you will need the PRIA to be completed by your previous air carrier before you can start IOE.

There’s almost no risk to taking the earlier class date, unless you’re trying to sneak one past them.

The items include DOT records, PRIA records, NDR records.

Cool beans. Yeah a previous carrier had some funny business on their end that came up at my current job, I disclosed it during the interview just in case it comes up again. After dealing with it once it would just be nice to leave the current place knowing it won’t come up during training.
