Whether you desire to move to ALPA or want to keep APA, make sure you mail in a card below so you can have your voice heard either way when the vote happens.
The 12 month clock to reach the needed 50% +1 started on Aug 21, 2023.
But the one thing you can do is print and mail this card in so we can reach the needed support to force the NMB vote. Share with your AA pilots in new hire groups and crews out on line. Sadly. many have simply unplugged from all things union.

New hires with an AA employee number and any non-management pilots will be eligible to vote once the threshold is met. This vote will be done by the National Mediation Board.

Say the card drive is successful and the vote heads to the NMB, what happens when neither party (ALPA/APA) get enough majority votes? My limited understanding is that the group would go unrepresented and thus the contract can and will be amended and will go away. Seems like you're playing with fire. Also, rumor on the street from New hires is that the captains (some pushing the card drive) are strong arming new guys for a signature as a trade for a positive review. Any truth to that other than what new hires are currently saying?

So here is my question from the outside.

Most captains can’t be bothered to actually complete a probationary review, let alone try to extort a new hire for something as silly as this. Made up didn’t happen.
