A country with a brand new aviation industry (thus starting with a clean slate) would be the only situation where a master seniority list could be done. It has to be done from the get go, not after 80 years of development.

Only favored by pilots of failing or failed carriers.

Nice attitude.

Careful on your high horse, your company may trip and fall too someday. And don't give me that I fly for UPS/FedEx/SWA, can't happen to me BS.

I wish nothing but the best for all the AA guys. Sorry to see you go through this.
(Actually, I wish the best for all the pax guys trying to restore the profession.)

True. The real "poop" is that your union should stumble over itself to give up your pensions, pay, and QOL as soon as possible, regardless of your legal protections...and then contribute your dues money and political capital to pilot groups trying to undercut you in your darkest hour; give to leftist, anti-business political candidates; and lobby heavily for legislation that further stagnates your already stunted career (think Age 65).

Right, ALPA?

Its not about FAILED CARRIERS, its about a failing career..Are you willing to bet that YOUR particular airline will survive unscathed for the next 20 yrs?

The thing is I don't fly for an "airline" in the sense you all are thinking of an airline. So, yes I'm 100% confident I will still be flying for my "airline" and that it will still be highly profitable when I retire in 18yrs.

I think you missed it the first time, so I'll say it again:

Why don't you leave these guys alone and go count boxes or something.
