To all you AA SCOPE guys towards EAGLE
Over the past 15+ years at Eagle all I have been hearing is SCOPE towards Eagle and it was a strike issue and so on and so on....Agreed I want to move up but you dropped the ball on letting JetBlue take most of the NE from us and now your SCOPE just got shuved up your APA ars....instead of keeping it in house...now an outside company ie..SkyWest is feeding you with 90 seat aircraft not in a codeshare like JB and you can't do anything about it.
At Eagle we train in the same place as AA and get paid by the same company in the long run.......we are not the enemy but then you have had it that way for so long....by the way we fly airplane just like you. And your pilots have flown them....good luck with your new contract....
And no its not EAGLE's fault.....

Eagle isnt the enemy, or viewed as the enemy, they are just the bastard child that will never be allowed to sit at the grown ups table. If you have been there 15 years then you have seen it first hand. Has AMR/AA ever given two poops about the livelyhood of Eagle employees? Why start now?

Speaking of scope, why did the Eagle pilots let a committee chair (not even MEC Chair) waive the operative provisions of Eagle scope?
Seems like that's the real issue with SkyWest taking "Eagle's flying."

I don't care who you are though, you have to feel bad for the guy. I'm sure he could give you some advice.

AA, in its stated goal of diversifying its feed, has begun awarding contracts to OUTSIDE companies. Right now, AE is simply not allowed to "bid" for flying because it already has too much of it in AMR's view.
Once the company formerly known as AE has been spun off, divested, whatever one wants to call it, they will begin bidding in earnest for contracts - very likely to ALL of the mainline carriers. I expect they will be as successful as the others, Skywest included.
