I heard Richard Branson is buying AA and is going to merge them into Virgin America.
At least my rumor has a source. Branson: 'It would be quite fun' to buy stake in American Airlines

It's going to take Parker a long time to clean up the pilots seniority mess and perhaps he's electing to kick the can himself for awhile ?
He IS profitable after all.
Perhaps the AMR UCC wants no part of the US Airways mess ?

Perhaps a certain recent court ruling has left the water too muddy for either Horton or Parker ?

In fact the recent court proceedings may have some merger steering potential, we might see an expedited push for an East/West cba, or OTHER alternatives. This only to quench UCC anxieties.

Actually west pilots are talking about boycotting. I won't go anyway, Doug is always in full BS mode at those dog and pony shows. And then someone will get up and ask a stupid question like why we don't have quiche in our breakfast crew meals. Way too aggravating.
