P.S. Whiskey, if you think that the East contract is bad, wait till you see the scheduling system AA uses. You are about to lose every good thing in the West contract to the AA system. There is no desire by the AA negotiating committee to upgrade (pay for) a new system. You will be wishing it was only as bad as the East contract. Prepare for a major lifestyle adjustment if you are a lineholder. Prepare for disaster if you are a reserve.

If anything should go away it's the short rest red eyes. 6:30am duty in, fly to PHX, 12 hours on the ground and then back to PHL by 6:00am the next morning. Who doesn't like going to bed in the early afternoon for a 4 hour nap!!!?
