222 + 402 = 624

That's how much profit US air and American made in q2.
I can only image how much will be once the companies are combined and we get all those "synergies".

We may look at billions in profit per year. I hope we remember this when it comes to getting a JCBA.

If the three pilot groups could become unified and start acting like a union there could be a great contract. All of the combined pilot groups don't have a great track record. I am betting on the greed factor with continued litigation. It will not look like a Delta contract until there is a pilot shortage.

Well, for a certain group of pilots the only thing that matters is the...........

Nope, not going to go there.

Trust me, as soon as the Unions signed off any portion of profit sharing, both sides are going to be churning major profits. Now of course if we still had profit sharing, the would barely eeeeeek a few pennies profit each qtr........

Check your tinfoil hat, my friend. US Airways has been paying us profit sharing the past few years while reporting superb operating results, including 2012, which was the best in the company's history.

Personally, I think giving up profit sharing for a few pieces of hourly silver was incredibly short-sighted, but nobody asked me ...

Pacman 07-25-2013 11:44 AM

How much did the profit sharing checks pay last year for someone who was active the whole year?

crzipilot 07-25-2013 09:48 PM

Would have to go back and look, but 4-5k after taxes I think it was....maybe.
