American pay/retirement
 
Does anyone have a link to the American contract or at least the pay charts? Profile on this site is lacking aircraft types in FO pay chart, and the retirement section is confusing. No 401k, but yes on matching?

I believe first year pay is $35 or $40 per hour on all aircraft types.

Not sure what it is currently but under the MOU that will go into effect if/when the US Airways merger is approved first year pay will be $40.00/hr with a 73hr reserve guarantee. 16% automatic contribution by the company to your 401k (you don't have to contribute anything to get this contribution.) Current Aircraft (including US Airways) Group 1: E190, Group 2: MD80 B737 A320, Group 3: B757 B767, Group 4: B777 A330, Group 5: None

Is that $40/hr w/73hr guarantee effective of merger approval or is it effective when SOC is issued/JCBA signed? Good info on the 401k... Thanks. Still looking for 2nd+ year pay on various AC if the info is out there.

Those rates are already in effect for AA pilots. The rates become effective for US pilots upon POR approval date (assuming that the merger happens).

Don't US pilots get back pay for the difference between current rate and the new rate going back to earlier in the year? (if the merger goes through)

Since we are talking pay can somebody explain the "pay parity" review that takes place in 2016? Does this mean that AA will for sure match Delta/United pay on similar equipment or just that they will compare rates and might adjust AA rates if they are economically able? I realize AA is operating in a bankruptcy contract but the pay difference is staggering. Thanks!

Effective January 1, 2016
Compares Delta and United rates on A 320 and B 737 aircraft
Weighted based on ASMs
Percentage increase will apply to all other aircraft groups
Will result in a 16.5% increase on Jan 1, 2016
