If your referring to me ... I'm a 3rd lister
But either way I think we'll gain more with getting this SLI done and looking at the big picture of a industry leading JCBA.

Very few guys on the East look like they are starving bro and even though the pay was low for pilots, in the big picture, it wasn't food stamps.

Kinda funny, the West complained about our (East) pay rates, and now we have a 3rd lister is complaining about our previous pay rates.

Worth every penny. When you have 28 years and have the same thing done, maybe you will see it. Good luck.

I don't regret a single extra minute spent on LOA 93. I spent 9 years. How many did you, scooter?

"Third lister" was a concept that existed under the 2005 TA. Technically there is no longer a "third list" where all USAir pilots hired after the 2005 TA were guaranteed to be junior to USAir pilots hired before the 2005 TA. The concept of a third list is not only a legal nullity now, it is also unfair from a perspective of LOS and relative position. :D

I can't take credit for the pay .pdf but I like that it resides on MIT's server!

I like the "third lister" term and enjoy arguing why they should be senior to some west pilots that were hired before them. It was fair for the West to argue, and more importantly, it was some of those West pilots that fought to keep the third listers on lower pay for the same work! :D

You guys are so damn funny. I'm glad you enjoyed the RJ wages sitting in the right seat for 20 years. You had about two good years of a contract before you went CH 11 twice. Now you union is going away and you say that it doesn't matter. Too damn funny.

Purple Turd, we did not lose in Judge Wake's court. We lost on ripeness on appeal and Judge Silver basically told USAPA to go pound sand. While it is true that we have not won the DFR claim we have not lost either as our list is still very much in play and USAPA will be tossed on the street. Considering we have the winning SLI attorney in several arbitrations on our side I'd have to say that you guys are in for a severe reality check quite soon. The APA already gave you your first wake up call today.

Enjoy!

Average wages were lower for AWA because we had a lot of new hires. When you are a captain in 3 years, like I was, or a captain in 5 years, like the guys upgrading at the time of the merger then the w2s will be lower compared to the stagnating 20 year reserve at US Air. Your guys were all close to being topped out.

Hmmm, work for a stagnating company that was going to liquidate or work for a growing company that is upgrading quickly and is profitable. I'll take AWA, thanks. And though we have been the ones stagnating over the past 8 years I will still take working with a unified, professional group like we have here over the alternative. We take care of each other and we support one another. We have proven that over and over.
