$2? What the bleep??
Not trying to be cheap here (actually, yes!), but why do I have to pay $2 to list on AA through myTravelID? Do AA pilots have to pay $2 as well to ride on US Airways (provided there are no more jumpseat nazis making the news)?

I think it's because they don't have it integrated yet. I think we can only use ZED right now. And new hires can't use AA or ZED fares until 6 months on property. Jumpseating is a different story, it was free for me the one time I've used AA.

The $2 is assessed by MyIDTravel, not by either airline. You're essentially traveling on a $0 ZED ticket with an improved boarding priority. Mid-2014 is the expected time frame for an integrated employee travel website/listing service.

Is there any other way to list on the AA j/s without paying a service fee? Does the 800 number still exist? Can you list at the gate?
What I don't understand is why we have to pay now, whereas in the past that fee was waived.

You should not have to pay to list Jumpseat. Select Pilot Commuting from the drop down menu, instead on non-rev.
