discounts available to AA employees
AA guys,
What discounts are available to you through your employment with AA? More specifically, looking to buy a car around ORD in the near future. Hoping to get a little assistance from AA discounts since all of Airways discounts are mainly out in PHX. Thanks! |
A quick check of the deals site has non-specific deals for Ford and GM (you have to go to a website and have a code, etc). The AA Credit Union also has a car buying program but I don't know any details.

Back in 2001 I tried to use the AA car discount deal. It didn't work for me at all.
I use the AT&T AA discount but when my contract is up i'm switching to Sprints Framily plan. Not to be "negative" But I think the discounts are bogus. For example I pay AT$T $97.00 a month for unlim talk, text and 1G data. through the AA discount. Framily same service $25. a month. |

Thanks I will! Like I said, not being negative here. But there are No good deals thru AA in my experience.
I am hoping we switch to Fidelity on 401K as I feel JP Morgan is a rip off. They lock you out if they think you are using Easytracker401k advisory letters for trades. They push you into American Beacon funds. ABF is a shell corp of AMR. By now the names have changed enough to make it difficult to trace back to AMR. But they ARE AMR making tons of fees off YOUR retirement. |

T-Mobile is now offering unlimited text/data internationally to a whole bunch of countries included in their regular monthly plans, might want to take a look at them if you travel outside the US regularly. |
Can anyone comment on what AA's discount for both ATT and Verizon are?
The USAirways discounts are: Verizon: 20% off of data portion of plan only ATT: 23% off of entire bill I'm tired of my terrible reception everywhere with Sprint and will be switching soon to either ATT or Verizon, with the USAirways discounts, ATT is the obvious choice for what I need (Both plans are the exact same price before the discount), but if AA's Verizon discount is better, I might go with Verizon because they have slightly better coverage where I am. Thanks. |
