The other thing that keeping int'l and domestic separate is it puts the brakes on PBS, and throws a wrench into the company plans to implement it. It'll probably negatively impact schedules on the east side however. Another thing is since we'll all be under the same contract hopefully a lot of the red eyes on the east will be spread around the system. It seems that is all PHL reserves do these days.

"Selling" negotiating items requires a "buyer" and Parker is not likely going to step over the millions in synergies he was handed to pick up the pennies that could be gained from things like the Excise Tax. The No voters need a dose of reality which has been in woefully short supply in the east.
The next time a LUS East pilot tries to convince you to vote No ask them what their union accomplished when they had unfettered access to less their pilots. Keep a tissue handy for them.

Sad, but predictable for dopey airline pilots.

Inline five - 20% pay increase = $1.75 billion
So 10% would = $875 million
The concessions are valued at $85 million.
You want to sell them for $850 million some day in the future? The plan to achieve that is to vote no???

However I don't for a second agree with the valuations given.
Just like you can't put a valuation on reserve call out time - it could be changed to anything and there really is no "price" assigned to it; we all know that isn't the case in the real world though.
As far as int'l/dom combined divisions, the company wants it badly enough to pay us far more than they would with arbitration and not getting it.
What I'm saying is, just do the math, the company obviously wants what is in the green book.
It's a tough call, really, the results will be interesting.

US negotiator was very casual about the cost of dual divisions at US - "we've had it before and it's not that difficult." APA estimated the loss at LAA, with 8,000 pilots, at 85 jobs. So what's the job increase at LUS with fewer bases/bid statuses and half as many pilots, 35? 40? 45?
Even if you don't believe those valuations no one has mentioned valuations that come anywhere close to $875 million.

Listen, I have no problem if this gets voted in. I'll vote no, but if it gets voted in I understand am at peace with it. But your posts make u look like the most uninformed psa pilot I've ever seen.
