190s no new paint?

As a outsider looking in, I've noticed every plane type has at least gotten a new AA paint job except the E190. Are they not sticking around or just not being painted?

The 190s are likely going away I would guess.

I went through recurrent two weeks ago and they said the first 190 goes in for paint in Oct. They said a new one will go in every 2 weeks.

I've heard paint was delayed on them because they could afford to have one down for a couple of weeks right now while they're getting painted. They are slated for paint, though.

Management seems very happy with the 190. I think it would be more likely we get more, than get rid of them.

190s are here for the foreseeable future and management has indeed indicated they will start repainting later this year.

Publicly management has said they like the airplane and they will either replace the fleet or grow the fleet. I believe they will
Park them unless they start painting them and showing me other wise.

iirc the slack in the utilization schedule was eaten up when the one geared up in texas a while back. Once low season comes again they are slated for paint.

Anyone know what happened to that plane? I think it was 953. I haven't seen it since. I heard it got ferried to SAT for repairs, but it's been a while.
