I thought all airlines required shirt wings? I know ACA did....I know delta, United require them. Never saw an airline that didn't wear them on the shirt. LUS doesn't wear shirt wings? That's gotta look weird...two holes where the wings are supposed to go. AA has always worn them on the shirt as well.
From the uniform committee update today:
6. New-design metal wings will be worn on the shirts and embroidered wings will no longer be authorized.
So what that means is that we will be issued wings for the shirts AND jackets, since the jackets also require wings.

My problem with the new stuff is too many epualets, I'm a fan of traveling incognito, I don't like epualets on a trench coat, sweater, rain coat, etc. IIRC, the originals didn't have epualets on everything, which tells me pilots have actually asked for them
The trench coat is double breasted with a belt, doesn't look good.

No, we don't wear them, and it makes it easier to launder etc. I use "a cut above" fitted shirts, and there aren't any holes for wings. Speaking of which, are we going to be allowed to use other vendors for shirts?

Also no epaulets on the trench AFAIK.
