AA Deals/Discounts on NewJetnet (T-Mobile?)
I have been waiting until my cell phone plan lock in was expired and considered changing to T-Mobile so I can text for free on GoGo during my frequent deadheads.
There used to be a corporate discount plan for T-Mobile on Jetnet, but the discount area of Jetnet has changed a great deal since I last visited. Do any of you have T-Mobile service and do you receive an AA discount? I'd like change over, but I want to see if there's a discount plan before I decide for sure. Thanks.

The only AA discount is 30% on accessories and prepaid services.
I switched to T-mobile last September, the primary reason being the international deal: you get unlimited data while roaming, as well texting and calling over wifi. Europe has hotspots pretty much everywhere.

I am with T-Mobile for about a year now, and the overall experience is ok. I pay less than with AT&T (including company discount). International data roaming is awesome, and with WhatsApp I can even get descent calls done with only 2G indicated data speed.
Even with GoGo you can get acceptable WhatsApp phone calls (on your commute of course), and for those that have family members (or girl friends) outside the US, their international plan is also worth a look.

If you're not a huge data hog I'd look into Google Fi... It uses both T-Mobile and Sprint networks. Coverage is good. You have to use a Nexus 6p or 5x phone. Just like T-Mobile you get data and texting internationally in 120+ countries. Just like T-Mobile you can call and text via wifi. Only difference is instead of "unlimited" data (which is actually throttled) you pay $20 + $10/gb that you actually use. My bill is usually less than $40.

Thanks guys. I ran some numbers and even without the 21% discount AT&T gives us, I'll still pay less. With the dissolution of D + I divisions, that international plan could be an even better deal than it seems now.
