Yalls TTOT doesn't sound very good if it doesn't allow you to trade a three day or four day for a two day or one day. I had an AA guy on the Jumpseat saying something about the color code won't let you do stuff like that.

On the flip side of the coin I hear TTS will only be better with PBS.

TTOT is the old system that had to be reactivated due to the new TTS systems deficiencies. You can trade longer trips for shorter trips if the Redder/Red/Green system will let you.

How often is it green? All I have to go on is what I hear on the Jumpseat.

Depends on your status (Base/Equipment/Seat) and time of year. For most, green is fairly rare. The longer the trip, the less often you'll see it green. You can trade a red trip for one that isn't as red. Yes, that's screwy, but this is AA.

Nope. You build your own line using the pairings available to you. That's how PBS works.

True except the "optimizer" trumps seniority and preferences for all to accommodate company needs (non of which is transparent).

I admit to being confused as to the point of this suggested template.

Should this be universally applied to everyone or just one or more specific subgroups ?
