They won the lottery and still the entitled West group still whines and complains. Hardly any fences. Those guys never saw the front of a big airplane & now they can bid away with hardly any restrictions. TWA guys were destroyed, AWA gains all the way around and yet they still cry like babies.

Dear PHX Pilots,

By now you have likely seen the final Integrated Seniority List issued by the arbitration panel earlier today and have discovered with great dismay that it us not based upon the Nicolau Award. I know you are as disappointed as I am about that aspect of the award, but most of you are likely relieved to discover that it does not resemble the AAPSIC proposal which would have been far more harmful to most of us, even though that proposal was based upon the Nicolau Award. I fully acknowledge that some of our pilots fare better than others, and some are unspeakably harmed. But further discussing the award at this time is not the point of my message today.

Even more incredulous, I hear there are some ****ed of East guys.

"Means we got hosed. I have around 400 AA guys ahead of me with an 85 or earlier hire date, nice to get 4 to 5 years free."

From a senior East pilot....

I think it turned out OK for the East, could have been a whole lot worse. I ended up 3000 plus numbers lower than AAPSIC wanted but we all know their list was absolute BS.

Not true, the East Pilots stood their ground, no nic. I have heard of no complaints from the pre 2010 hired pilots.

Sorry eagle regional alpa shill.

Pan Am, Eastern, Continental (original, not their scab laden pilots now) , TWA, Air Cal, kicked to the streets by some other alpa supported pilots undercutting the competition.

USAPA drew a line in the phx sand.

The AWA FOs that would have been Captains with the Nic are POed that they were spanked for such dreams.

The AWA guys most upset are the former TWA pilots that were stapled at AMR and later hired at AWA. The Nic was their ticket to recover all the lost seniority at AMR, but they were stapled a second time.
