I asked a guy who did the grunt work. Category and status is wrong. It has multiple breakdowns instead of the one on the graph.
Apparently(?) that's why the 1300 numbers gap appears between two West classmates? Apparently that's where the Group IV FO c/s ends???

Yes, I believe the gap was due to the west not getting credit for group IV aircraft.

Guys,
As an outsider it is very hard to grasp what happened without comparison dates.
If its not too much trouble can someone pick a few hire dates and show how they line up? For example I have buddies hired in 1996 (I think) and 2000 at American.
1996 American guy = xxxx USAIR = XXXX America West
2000 American guy = xxxx USAIR =XXXX America West
Thanks Scoop

AA (TWA) 1989 = US 2008 (third lister)
Bottom US Third Lister appx 13,900
There are some big variations in the list due to Category and Class differences. Total pilots now around 15,200.

Adjusted seniority list from union site has 14400 as the total. Perhaps the non-returning Letter T guys were removed?
It has complete birth dates for all pilots along with your seniority as of 1 July of every year to retirement, so a few minutes in excel and you can have your seniority chart.

If someone doesn't think one number can make much of a difference to your career you might want to talk to Swain.
