Also, no need for weight restricted Hawaii-West Coast with the NEOs. Don't know the 737MAX capabilities, but I'm sure they're going take over other group 3 flying. We have a lot of work to do in Contract2020!

Delta makes more money per seat, and incurs less of a cost to operate that seat, with 30% LESS EMPLOYEES, than AA.

Yes, we have newer airplanes, but we have last decades' airplanes. Delta will be replacing their fleet with the newer more efficient (15%+) aircraft and once again have a huge advantage over us.

Delta is a much better airline. The market likes increased EPS and the only way AA is able to do that moving forward is by buying back stock, not growing it organically.

Having run through the tables above, we can conclude that Delta holds three key advantages over American Airlines. First, it's more efficient operationally. You guys continue to think that AA should outperform Delta. It would cost pounds of flesh for a modest improvement. Doug has no interest in doing that, he doesn't need to. It should be crystal clear to you by now, Doug doesn't think that way, he's extracting what he can for as little emotional/financial investment as possible. That's the way he's wired. Your best plan of action is the do the same thing, extract as much as possible from this job for as little emotional/physical effort. Use the money to pay for your happiness outside of work. You'll be amazed at how little stress you have and how fun life can be! Doug's on to something!
