Careful what you say or do you could be on candid camera.

2 days ago a ramper was busted with a camera protruding out of a coat pocket. Just after a substantial no show.

WLWT ?

And you think that a pilot would be busted for having a camera protruding out of a pocket on a walk around?

...just reporting on Amazon.

Amazon’s future airfreight hub, just 650 kilometers northeast of FedEx’s Memphis (MEM) hub, has stoked rumors that Amazon is on a path toward direct competition with the integrators. Now sized at more than 1,100 acres, the planned CVG hub will be similar in size to the global hubs of the biggest cargo airlines. FedEx’s MEM hub is just over 900 acres.

....how many large airplanes does Fedex have flying out of Memphis?

Remember size doesnít matter itís what you do with it. Only time will tell if Amazon will use its size to truly compete or if it will just show it off and play with it to try and impress all.

Why wouldnít Bezos try to compete with Fed Ex and UPS? He certainly could offer better price points to the consumers. He is a real threat to UPS and Fed Ex for domestic.

They have about 140 aircraft in and out every night. About ten of those are small ATRs, the rest are mainline FedEx.
