KCM is run by ARINC not the TSA.

But still staffed by TSA, clearly.

The government shutdown won't affect anyone who posts on this site. Unless you wanted to take vacation to a national park.

Many of the corporate/charter guys are affected, pretty much everything grinds to a halt at the FSDO's, so that LOA they are waiting on just got delayed.

Unless you're taking an FAA written test. Or checkride with an FAA employee. Or you're an air traffic controller who is now not getting paid.

Or you're waiting on an FAA medical decision.
Or if your loved one needs Social Security decision.
There are plenty of reasons the average person would need govt interaction.

ATC Controllers are getting paid.

ATC Controllers are getting paid.

Not according to every air traffic controller I know. They're getting their already earned pay but their pay since the shutdown is not guaranteed. It'll likely get paid as back pay later but people still have payments to make in the mean time. Military stops getting paid at the end of the month.
