For anyone actually at Skywest, are the projected upgrades on the pilot recruitment webpage accurate for ERJ & CRJ. If you don't think so please provide your experience .

Thanks in advance

What do they say? I'm too lazy to look. The CRJ upgrade is instant if you have the time. ERJ is sitting just under 3 years and will likely drop as we bring on more planes this year.

What bases are seeing the "instant" upgrades for the CRJ?

Upgrade still just over 3 year. It hasnt been dropping (yet). Between SLC base opening and a ton of CRJ CA transitions from surrounding domiciles, its still decently senior. Well see if that trend continues with more DL arrivals this summer.

Yeah. If anyone is itching for no QOL and near or at lowest pay in the regional industry, come upgrade at Skywest.

Prepare for 6 days of work in a row followed consequently by 2 off, having to commute on your days off. Don't say that we didn't warn you!

Yep!! QOL sucks. But for some people that may be an improvement and or jumpstart to the majors... whats a guy to do. Stay plying a caravan for 20 years trying to get on a major.. still way better then the 6-8 leg hand flying Metro days...

If that is what it takes to get out of here, so be it. No point in prolonging the misery and low pay combined with Koolaid Heads all whacked out

Could a new hire still upgrade right away? Also if you are former SkyWest do you get your own room in training?
