“Very bumpy on descent. Pretty much everyone on the plane threw up,” the pilot said in the report, according to NBC 4 Washington.

It was not AWA. That flight had landed before that Pirep was even put out. It was from a different company.

“Air Wisconsin Flight 3833 operating as United Express from Charlottesville, Va. to Washington Dulles International encountered turbulence because of high winds,” United Airlines said in a statement.

It’s on CNN now. Fake news?

That's usually how it works.

From a recent Newsweek article

Flight 3833 departed from Charlottesville at 6:30 a.m. Friday and arrived at 7:19 a.m., about nine minutes ahead of schedule, NBC Washington reported. The CRJ-200 has the capacity to seat about 50 passengers in the main cabin. It is unclear how many were on board.

According to an initial statement by Air Wisconsin, which said it operated the flight, the plane “encountered turbulence because of high winds.” Air Wisconsin later rescinded the statement, saying the pilot's report was not from them, ABC News's Jeffrey Cooks reported.

United then confirmed to Newsweek that Air Wisconsin had operated the flight.

This is all google searchable, and just amusing because most people will wonder what an Air Wisconsin flight was doing in Virginia.

“Shouldn’t they just be flying around Wisconsin?” -Joe Q Public

If it's not ZW then who else operates UEX flights into Dulles using CRJ-200? Bueller? Bueller?

It’s been confirmed by our Chief Pilot and Director of Flying that it was not us.

Along with a discussion as to why it keeps being reported that we operated the flight. You should go to the Facebook group to check it out.

If it wasn’t us (maybe a PSA -200 flight over IAD on the TRUPS or FRDMM to DCA?) then shouldn’t someone from ATW advise the media outlets that it wasn’t them? The AW friends Facebook page is private.

Problem is, the damage had been done to the public and our peers.

No damage done to anyone. People who say "I'll never rider on XwhateverX carrier again" show up the next year for the cheapest flight again.
