Does anyone know the specifics of this position? Pay? Schedule? Can you move onto being a line pilot at x amount of time?

Thanks!

One of our instructors who wanted very much to fly told us that there's a "gentleman's agreement" that sim instructors won't try to apply for line jobs until something like two years from date of hire.

That said, I have no idea what the success rate is for guys trying to cross over.

I thought they got a guaranteed interview after 3 years of instructing?

No gurantees.

2.5-3 years to get an interview.

Two guys interviewed last year. Neither were hired. Both quit.
