I just hope we get the IOCC fonts fixed and a designated file folder for the job well done cards in place before SNA opens.

Saw this thread title, thought I missed a company memo, nearly fainted.

My heart says yes but my brain says ‘then why are we slowing hiring?’

Training is backing up. With the amount of new hires and lots of upgrades.

Or it could be that the ratio between butts and available airplanes are higher. Since they're losing 15 delta airplanes to Republic. I talked to a recruiter at OSH and said they are slightly slowing down hiring and won't have open class dates until January '19

I wouldn't get all giddy if a contract does get signed. This would not help any of us get out of here any sooner and would just perpetuate the pennies on the dollar regional model. I for one want no part of that.

He's saying that those planes should be flown by mainline which would increase the amount of mainline jobs, allowing for more of us to be hired at mainline flying those planes like it should be.

We can't even keep the 56 birds we have flying...you really think adding 25 more to the mix is going to be a recipe for success?

Talked to recruiters during OBAP, its likes vacation time for them, classes 2018 are full, all they do is show up for the fairs, interview maybe 10-15 candidates A MONTH! And being super picky too.
So i dont think UA rumor is gonna happen.
As for Republic if it happens, cant wait for cross-beed start while taxiing.
