Yep,

1.Video interview where you answer 7 questions.

2. Face to face interview, if video was a success. This is to take place in Orlando Florida.

3. Waiting on the call/email after face to face to see if you were successful to go to phase 2. This is a background check. Not hired yet but pretty much have the job if you check out good on info you provided.

4. Once phase 2 is complete welcome aboard. Wait for the class date.

5. Get class date.

6. Get on line.

7. Realize you made a mistake.

8. Update your apps.

9. Get hired somewhere else.

Dude... If you want to work here, go back a bit through the forums and search it out. Hours verification, social awkwardness, and a willingness to don overalls whilst planting the blue potato. Do the work...It hasnít changed! Good luck.

By the way... Hope you like night flying.

I love it how guys on here talk smack and tell everyone to leave. But they NEVER leave themselves. Small minority. Vocal minority.

Why can't they follow their own advice? Or are they that bad that we are stuck with them?

Some of us are just too old to start over and but that doesnít mean we donít want others to learn from our mistakes. The industry is fickle so some of us just got stuck. 9-11 hurt a lot of us.

Times are different now and therefore applicants need to be aware of what the cult is like. They need to be told the truth and, unfortunately, there are too many that buy into the BS and fail to see the forest through the trees.

Probably to late for me. I wasn't smart enough to realize it shortly after getting on line like the steps suggest. Plus, JB changed for the worse over my time here, so when I made the decision to stay(ish) I didn't know things were going to get worse.

It's like slow boiling a frog...

Like I said to Payne, the steps suggest that you figure out your mistake after getting on line. I wasn't smart enough to figure it out and am now half way up the seniority list.

As Benz said, some of us want to at least make others aware of the mistakes we made, so that they understand the cult straight away and can do better for themselves.

And... JB is worse now in my opinion than when I got hired.....

Been here for a couple years. Still very happy with my decision to come here. For those looking to interview here, you'll find some are happy and some are not....like any place of employment.

Man donít ya hate being half way up a seniority list? :)

But I donít see the problem with keeping options open. An FO asked me about it I said the same thing I always say. Interview get the job and decide at that point. There is way to much theory and stress created by it. Go to work have fun( I still do) apply and see what happens.

I donít think the company is worse but I do think we lack vision. It sure could be turned around quick or we could lumber on. If you look at past history we lumber on but as we all know airlines change quick. If we had real leadership this could be a great airline. The parts are all there they just are not used correctly. (Especially the employees that want to do a good job and be proud of their company). We have definitely let Wall St run the place and the stock keeps going down. That needs to change but Iím not sure it will with this ELT.

If I lived in the northeast or FL I would still apply here. But anywhere else not so much. But definitely keep options open, our ELT sure does.

I still like JetBlue I just donít like knowing the total potential it has that is just totally squandered by stupid decisions and a lack of focus.

If someone came in with a real vision and a get back to basics plan while cleaning up SOC and middle management and focused on achievable goals this place could kill it.
Itís like the hot girl that doesnít know she is hot. But again that would take real leadership and also have them admit that they have failed at things.

They should just say they failed to take care of the employees hence the unions but the past is the past and we all need to move in one direction with real goals. Work with the unions and the employees to get back to what JetBlue was.

When I say the company has gotten worse, here are some of the things that bother me:

We used to get 150% for EVERYTHING above 78 hours. You could call in sick, and get paid 150%...

Annual pay review, while not perfect, had our hourly rate close to our Legacy peers. Of course the company took that away unilaterally when our peers started to get big raises.

At JB, our seniority movement is overwhelming predicated on growth. We have very notably slowed our fleet growth, based on deferrals and revised delivery schedules to slow our growth rate.

Complete and total lack of corporate vision, focus and execution. Which adds up to epic wasted potential.

Those are some of the big things that have changed for the worse in my opinion.

So relative to most of our big airline peers, I cannot in any way see this place as as valuable of a career for a new-hire.
