I feel like i have a good understanding of how the basic "6 pack" set of instruments work. However, I've been looking into further understanding of just how the new glass cockpits are set up. I don't mean what each component that is displayed means, I'm talking more about how the information is collected through sensors and processed through the ADC.

Im mostly interested in this since the future calls for glass cockpits. The only issue is I can't find many good articles or explanation on how these avionics are set up. Whenever I read a flying handbook, it only goes over how to read the data on the displays but not HOW this data gets there in the first place. I hope this makes sense. If someone could recommend a good read on this topic, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
