Convenient timing that it occurs while our mechanics are trying to limit outsourcing of maintenance....

I absolutely love that this is happening on the airplanes that American is trying to squeeze more seats into via project “oasis”. I hope they stay grounded until American reverts them from the beyond crappy 29” seat pitch back to the standard 31” seat pitch.

I don’t believe AA has any 29” pitch seats. Reference?

That was the initial plan, they backed off then 29. The worst now is 30 I believe.

For the moment.

But I would suspect they will have their turn in the barrel. All airlines just trade places periodically. This week’s genius company is next week’s dog....

They aren’t very smart to be giving away so much of their profits with an incredibly old fleet, and pensions which are still underfunded

Pensions? We don't get no stinkin' pensions.
