As a new hire FO is it possible to get the Miami hub? Also, if that is not possible, is DFW easy to get?

I just want to say, this forum is such a valuable resource and y'all are amazing!

New hires getting MIA in class will not happen. After a few months you might have a shot. DFW on the 175 is certainly an option, but remember that the cadets and prior 121 pilots pick first, so it could be a wait as well if you donít get a 175 slot.

About 3 months after you complete IOE you should be able to get anywhere you want. Thatís kinda what the seniority list is favoring

thanks for bringing your positive vibes. The most Jr FO in Miami right now is a 9/18 hire, estimate like 3 months for training and thatís about 3 mos on reserve somewhere else before you get back to Miami, so not too bad
