Looking for anything associated with the A-37 Dragonfly.
Patches, checklists, T.O.s, parts, photos...

Big fan of the airplane so let me know what you’ve got.

One more. From my phone so not the best. And can’t figure out how to rotate it.

Found this old Tweet at the Istanbul Aviation Museum, a.k.a. Turkish Air Force Museum, (Turkish: Havacılık Müzesi or Hava Kuvvetleri Müzesi). This museum is a military-based museum for aviation, owned and operated by the Turkish Air Force. The museum is located in Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district in Istanbul, Turkey.

Spent 5 years flying the mighty tweet at Columbus AFB. Most I’ve ever worked, but also the most fun.

My father was a Huey pilot in Vietnam and was somehow able to get into an A-37 on a bombing mission. I'll post a few of the pictures he took:

Great shots! Mind if I download for a fighter-pilot site?

Porky:

Do you know what base or year this was?

This was on Bien Hoa air base on January 3rd, 1969. The Air Force let my dad come on the flight because of all the BDA support his unit provided. He used to have a certificate from the Dragonfly unit for this flight but has since lost it.

Just saw this, PorkChop. Great shots! Helpful in what I'm researching too. I've not seen them with what looks like vortex generators. Are those VG's, would you guess?

Thanks! Those certainly look like vortex generators. We had similar VG's on one of the older RC-12's I used to fly, but they weren't on the later models. Maybe one of the Dragonfly guys will chime in about these.

I've had no one contact me offline. I did get a contact for a former A-37 pilot from Vietnam and will see if he has any insight.
