My Uncle is retiring from AA and I want to get him a custom model of one of their planes. I have found a few places, once that stands out is www.factorydirectmodels.com
Anyone know anything about them before I spend money on this?

You can buy cheaper ones from the CR Smith Museum, in Dallas.

I have 4 FDM models. Dash, 145,190, 321. I have been very pleased with the work out of Manila they do. Expect about 3 month wait for a custom. They are pricy, but honestly Iím so happy with them. Unfortunately they way things are moving in 2 years iíll be back to a long course and calling them back for another. Iíll PM pictures if you want to see the FDM products.

Easy easy, those child laborers can only hand carve and make so many in the non A/C filled pinay summers.

I've always been happy with Atlantic-models.com. I have two of theirs. They can customize it with specific tail numbers and everything.
