anyone can sue anyone in this country. So what

So what? Are you saying that because the business is owned by two JetBlue captains, that somehow they should never be sued?

Without more specifics, it sounds like an ordinary civil dispute. Even then, a jury decides, not us.

Having grown up in a household with several small businesses with numerous employees.... this is more than likely a crappy employee that felt entitled despite a low grade drug addiction and lackadaisical work ethic. Like post #2 said, anyone can sue anybody for anything.

Really ? "Just an FYI" ? Because you seem to have a hrd-on for this company and desire to dirty them up on this board

Be very very careful when dealing with this group mainly the owners. Advice is to stay away.
Recently filed lawsuit against the company by an employee the one you first speak to when trying to enroll. Number 05-2014-CA-034614 in the Circuit Court for Brevard County.
Aerostar does not pay its debts.

Four out of your six posts to date since joinging APC have dealt with Aerostar

That's a bizarre insight. Are there facts of this case that you know and we don't?

FWIW, sounds like your family businesses may have had an HR problem and an inability to attract quality employees. Were you the HR person?

Although that guys assumption is pretty brash and out there, if you have ever worked in a company with more than 10 people usually there is that "one" person. Not necessarily the drug aspect, but the **** poor work ethic, responsibility, thought process.

I think the point was more or so that anyone can sue for anything these days. Come on tort reform!

No hrd-on. And no personal issue.
Just reporting fyi.
Understand anyone can sue for anything.
Demise of most flight schools start with looting from customers deposits. Not usual for a current employee to sue their employer while still being employed even in aviation.
Though weird enough to comment.
Thats all.

Not paying salary is a serious issue.

Several years ago I dealt with the plaintiff on the phone about getting a type rating. I found her to be professional and helpful. If I had a business she could work for me.

I used an Aerostar in FL for a 737 type about 9 years ago, no problems.

DCA, must of been dealing with a different school this Aerostar wasnt incorporated until 2008. prior to that the school at this location was called Bond Aviation who made the local paper

Flight school proves it has no class - Orlando Sentinel (http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2009-05-26/news/dawson_1_bond-aviation-larry-bond-type-rating)

Biz, correct and hard to see how it got to here the plaintiff all over the web for Aerostar obviously professional but something big time wrong to have to sue your employer but have to still work there.
