I don't understand what the big deal is? Posting the pics was clearly not a good idea but is it really against the rules to jerk off while in cruise? He looks lie a horny little leprechaun,... Perhaps he could argue "biological need" as a legitimate defense.

Please tell me you are joking.

Let me tell you what the big deal is. It effin sick, dangerous and borderline psychotic to do something like that. Defending such a thing is the same.

Weird? Yeah sure. Gross? You bet! I wouldn't want to skipper the next leg. But dangerous? Only to his career and reputation.

Unlikely that it was in flight, unless the FO was an "accomplice".

Dude should be fired for sure, for making us all look bad.

I would say dangerous. If this was real...
He was alone in the, ah, cockpit. Not focused on nav, radios or scan.

Some tabloid could have rented a sim for 1/2 HR, $250 and made this story to sell copies.

The fo may not be an accomplice, he could have been in the lav. Not all countries make two people be in the flight deck at all times.

LOL! DEN, maybe we need to read his post with the sense of humor that it was intended. I was going to say something like.. "Doesn't that happen on all flights?!?! I thought that it was SOP". Here's an excerpt from the CVR playback>>> "BAD Monkey,.. BAD Monkey!!!!"

And I would have been joking, too..

Oooo

Like I said before, he was just following SOP. And he demonstrated good CRM; When your monkey is being bad..................

Here's a thought....

Crazy ex sets the whole thing up using a body double in a sim.

Or maybe I am just remembering one or two of my own exs.

This is when it pays to have read the thread before considering clicking the link (and then not clicking it because reasons...).

Hopefully, after pleasuring himself, he was gentlemanly enough to ask the F/O,... " do you mind if I smoke "?

Safest of journeys,...sushi
