Gateway Travel is a voluntary program in which Atlas buys your airline ticket or rental car to travel to your base and also a hotel room in order to arrive at a minimum of 12 hours before your duty start time.
If your flight delays 24 hours, you never get on the clock. Travel via gateway is unpaid and not duty time...

Atlas will go with whatever is cheaper. You can suggest flights. I’ve been able to get a preferred flight by pointing out my status on one airline would save the checked bag fee on another. Atlas has deals with a few airlines and tends to use them. Their rates sometimes reduce the mileage credit. I think Spirit is not used because while the base fare is normally cheaper, the nickel and dime add on fees make it more expensive.

Pool
Was told last week that in mid-July they would be setting the training schedule for the Aug/Sep/Oct time period. I was told that at that time they would be placing the ones of us that are in the pool in a class.

It would be appropriate. This EXCO is not known for doing that. Watch what they do (especially behind the scenes) vs what they say. I regularly said that on company actions vs statements but it looks like our EXCO has learned from them and our felon in charge. Some do union work to help the membership and some do it as a payday. LM-2's since this EXCO started confirm the latter.

777 cbt
For those recently hired- how far out did they provide the CBTs for the 777. Getting closer to the training date and have yet to see death by PowerPoint.
From reading these forums it also looks like there’s 747 videos but I haven’t found any 777 ones. Anyone know if they exist?
Thanks!
