LOL, rent free. Anyone who doesn’t hate their job and want their company to go out of business is a management stooge!

I’m just happy to see some more pushback on the 4-5 constant whiners here who refuse to leave. Don’t make the rest of us miserable because you’re unhappy with your life choices.

I'm sorry but this makes one come across as being out of touch.

There are many perks to flying heavies that attract all kinds of pilots. Layovers around the world vs around the state is one example. Another is having some more space in the flight deck.

We can agree that it's tiring to have to remember when to use "heavy" in the call sign domestically vs ICAO.

I digress...these perks make Atlas an attractive option...not to mention the type or intensity of flying.
As for your flight time and experience... as valuable as it is.. . makes no difference to this argument. In fact it makes one wonder what keeps you at such a "bad deal" as Atlas.

So its your personality then that prevented you from moving on all these years?

Alright TiredSoul and Lionhaart, you discovered my fetish…I get off on the monthly sexual abuse of flying for an ACMI. I have no desire to move on because I’ve gotten addicted to it. Perhaps I should remember that at one time I too was a young “heavy” driver and just so proud to tell everyone of my pilot friends that would still listen to me, and even random folks, that they too should experience flying “heavies”to all kinds of glamorous destinations. Heck, I probably even masturbated in my sleep just thinking about keying the mic and saying “heavy”. Anyways, enough about my weird fetish stuff. Maybe I’ll take this opportunity to reevaluate myself, my career, my sexuality, and even my choice in dogs. Maybe I’ll seek professional counseling…or maybe I’ll just fall asleep in the bunk dreaming about saying “heavy” again when I return to the cockpit.

The older -8's will also be good high density charter planes in the future.

Many new pilots will appreciate the hedging security that comes with flying at Atlas as well as the constant adventure in the destinations we go to. Also you get to fly heavies.
Orrrrrr the powers that be could, now hear me out, admit the pandemic is over and open the country back up. Crazy concept, I know.

I want to be with you on this as I am more of an optimist than a pessimist by nature, but the realist and historic value seen during these elongated current events worldwide lends me to believe those appointed over us (worldwide) will not be quick to relinquish their grasp/control over the masses without their agendas being fulfilled - politically, economically, educationally (doctrine), world debt and personal financial gain via position and power, etc. granted at this juncture. Apologies for the run-on sentence but late 2019, 2020 and 2021 has been a run-on & on & on….
