So do I. But I don’t pretend to be an expert on Atlas 747/767 or Southern 737 pay because I am not on those fleets. The lines blur when pilots from one fleet try to be an expert on another. Do you agree?

Not at all. I’m not an Atlas/Southern cheerleader. However, I also don’t want to see my fellow pilots pass on misleading information to those seeking it. There are plenty of reasons to steer clear of Atlas/Southern at this time. False or misleading information only damages the credibility of both groups. Stick to the truth. It’s sad enough.

We have a duty rig at Atlas/Southern which ends up being the main way that we get paid. It works out to about 4.85 hours of pay for 24 hours at work.
So, did you just operate a 15 hour flight? You’ll get paid for 4.85 hours.
Did you work a 14 hour reserve period? You’ll get paid for 4.85 hours.
Did you have a day that was 20 hours of operating/deadheading? You’ll get paid 4.85

There are literally 8x more Atlas pilots than Southern pilots. It's only logical there's more Atlas traffic passing thru these threads.
And frankly, we've been living under this contract longer than you have, so it's equally logical an accurate answer is given by an Atlas pilot.
This isn't a game show to see who gets to ring the buzzer first. It's about getting the truth out to those who seek it.

However, when Atlas pilots post under a “SouthernAir” thread that if a pilot flys 15 hours they only get paid 4.85 that is very misleading. When they post that most SouthernAir pilots only get paid CRT that is also misleading. Although probably true on the 747 (non-express) side where you are chasing airplanes all over the planet and also the 767/737 side, that may not be true on the 777 that has numerous high time lines due to lack of pilots.
My point is, if you are going to stray from your lane at least post accurate information. Anything else causes a loss of credibility of both groups. Simply post the facts that are 100% correct. The overall message will be the same.

Agreed! Atlas definitely has more CBA expertise. We are learning quickly though. Lol

Being short pilots on the 777 is not going to end in the foreseeable future. Nor will pilots being junior assigned well past their already 17-20 days.
