So true. I forgot to mention the latest dance partner, iAero, in addition to Mesa, 21 Air, Amerijet, MAS Air, etc. https://cargofacts.com/allposts/busi...eighter-fleet/

Fixed it for you. DHL and AMZN are the ones who do the choosing and bankrolling, not any of the Acmi carriers. Those carriers "place" is "forever mistress, never wife."

Eventually you will only see 748s, 777s, and A330s in DHL’s big airplane parking
FYI, the 3 TNT 777s are currently being operated by FedEx. I think it was part of the deal on the purchase of TNT by FedEx in 2016. They will be returned to the lessor when the leases expire by end of May 2024.

Thanks, I knew FDX was paying the monthly lease but did not know the lease expiration date. I was also not aware if it was still TNT pilots or if FDX pilots were actually operating them now.

Not even clear that the Delta 7 are coming to the US.

I do believe, however, that at least one of the Westjet ones will be operated by ATI, which means that at least one Amazon-owned aircraft probably will be operating in the US. That gives no clue about what's going to happen to the other 10 (4 Westjet plus 7 DL minus 1 to ATI).

Nor does it say anything about who is going to operate the 6 767s that CAM is going to lease to Amazon in the last 9 months of 2021 (the 5 in the first 3 months of 2021, it was announced officially some time ago, will be operated by ATI). But it is an interesting data point.

Also, it will be interesting to see how quickly IAI can process these 7 aircraft on top of the 4 Westjet/Amazon ones plus the 6 that CAM currently has in TLV plus the (at least) 2 more that CAM will be sending to TLV for completion this year plus whatever DHL sends them this year. They have the benefit of a growing MEX line in addition to TLV, and 2 of the 4 Westjets are currently in MEX, but 15 aircraft plus at least 2 more DHL is a lot. Can they do it all by year-end? I don't doubt that they will try.
Yes, mind is faster than the fingers these days.
7 to Amazon was what was meant. However IAI does have 7 767's going to the DHL system after conversion also.
I got ahead of myself typing. Thanks for the catch.
Plus the 5-6 going to ATI.

I'm counting 19-20 hulls in total
