Any regional in general. Just thinking like the last post on possible jobs. I think Atlas has its pros compared to the regional and also its cons. This new contract will be interesting

As far as a regional, where do you live? What’s your ultimate goal airline?
PSA and Envoy can get you to American if that’s cool with you. Not sure on that timeframe or how long it takes to upgrade.
The regional threads would have a better indication.
SkyWest or Mesa would work too. All have pluses and minuses. My former Mesa friends work for all the majors. Remember seniority is King-mixed in with “quality of life”

We should now know by Fall (fingers crossed) on what type of contract Atlas pilots will get based on new information.

More CBA delay from management. After 3 weeks of not submitting their final briefs they set June 7 only after the union threatened to go to the arbitrator and have him impose a date. The company reserved the right to submit a final “Reply Brief” after the final briefs from both sides. Expect a couple more months of stalling for that. No CBA before Fall at the earliest and the company is laughing all the way to the bank.
The execs are preparing for the mass exodus when the new 10yr mostly “current book” is published. The ATP requirement was just dropped.
The FA’s approved their first 5yr CBA with Atlas. They negotiated >50% soft pay than proposals for flight crew. The power of their vote made the difference. There hasn’t been a pilot CBA vote in 20 years and there won’t be one at Atlas ever. It’s been codified in Scope and the various lawsuits the company has won over the past 5+ years of stonewalling and legal trickery deployed by one of the highest paid management and legal teams in aviation.
Welcome aboard, don’t spend your 30 cents on the dollar all in one place.

Is this true? I’m hearing a lot more optimism from guys I talk to that work at Atlas. This is night and day different than what they are saying.

Right...I’m sure the Atlas pilot group really appreciates it right about now.

Yes it’s true. Fall if we are lucky. Could very well be next year spring.
It’s good some pilots are “optimistic”, but we also need to be realistic about the time frame.
