So is there any information on what the contract will actually be? Or is that still not decided?

It’ll be whatever the Arbitrator says. He's ruling has been delayed by his wife’s cancer. Probably in September or October.

The current date is September 10 at the latest, but anticipated to be earlier

I don't mean to sound heartless but this showes how flawed the system is. One man has a personal issue and thousands of people toil under a sub par contract while the company continues to reap the financial rewards of underpaid employees. The RLA is indentured servitude for airline employees. How long will we have to work under a law written for another industry almost a century ago? It's time the various unions get to gather and start working to end this archaic law.

This ^^^
I was expecting he’d have a team in place that do the research and the legwork and all the prep work. You know….kinda like a lawyer and their legal team.
No, this is apparently done by a single individual with nobody to back him up.
Sobering thought.

I am waiting for the "due to personal circumstances I must delay the date of a decision again to February 2022".

The can keeps getting kicked down the road.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least for CBA 2022. Even if it gets spit out today- it will be a very long time before fully implemented. AAAW mgmt are experts at spending 100’s of millions in legal fees to delay.

guess what- if the company and union can’t agree on verbiage in the “new cba” it goes back to the arbitrator for clarification- I have no doubt this will be the story for our next CBA.

Let’s be realistic.
Apart from pay which is just a mouse click away the implementation of the new contract will take 6-9 months.
Doesn’t mean there is nefarious intent as these things take time.

lmao.

Who could ever imagine nefarious shenangins in the last 9 months after five years and $1 billion spent keeping you and your family from enjoying better pay and QOL?

The mere suggestion is totally outrageous! I believe the executives when they say they are eager to give us the competitive contract we deserve and the union is holding up the process.

Totally believable. And "realistic".
