Default 737 Upgrade Time

I know it’s a moving target, but how long are upgrades on the 737 right now? Additionally, any speculation on upgrade times on the 737 after the Atlas/Southern merger is complete?

As you said it’s a moving target..

last year upgrades were in the 1-2 year range. That being said, I haven’t seen any upgrade awards on the 737 in 2021. Speculation is this is because of a training backlog on the FO side, and we started moving airframes into MX checks (first one started not long ago).

best WAG post-seniority list integration.. upgrades will be in the 2-3 year range. Emphasis on WAG

obviously this target moves drastically with the addition of airframes (if there are any plans for that). hope this helps.

Most junior 737 Capt from what I can see shows him hired in Nov 2019.

Your mileage may vary.

The future of the 737 program is truly unknown. It’s fairly stagnant right now. Atlas management keeps their cards close to their chest, but I suspect that after the arbitration ruling and Atlas/Southern are under an SOC, we’re going to hear announcements in regards to fleet growth, new flying contracts, etc.

Credit 68-75h. Block time average I'd say 30h, sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less.
Reserve lines credit is 78-82h
