KONT
I live in Riverside County, so I am curious about the KONT base. What is the flying like? What are the lines like, can you get overnights in Ontario? What is the hotel there? Do they have reserve you can sit out of KONT? Upgrade times?

Amazon and more Amazon. Lots of Hawaii from KONT and KRIV. Overnights aren't glamorous. The hotel is a Hilton Garden Inn. If you're close, feel free to stop by and talk to us as we come through.

Overnights in ONT most likely happen if you have back to back Hawaii flights. I have a 12 day trip next month that has a 28 hour layover and a 50 hour layover in ONT as wel as a 30 hour layover in RIV.

Is it always the same spot in Hawaii?

You will typically work 17 days, 13/14 days off depending on if it's a 30 or 31 day calendar month. Some lines will have the occasional 15 days off. It's all amazon flying out of ONT, we occasionally get some Asia DHL flying in our bid packets but it's just a few lines and it comes and goes. Junior CA in ONT is an April 2017 hire.

Not typically. We have domestic laps that are 5-7 days, you’ll do one or two per pattern typically. Laps meaning beginning and ending in ONT. We have Hawaii lines that are simply out and overnight and back. You’ll be back in ONT/RIV/SBD over other day with those lines.
