FO application
#21
For anyone that applied last year that is still waiting for a call, there is now a 2022 hiring announcement on the dashboard. Two folks I work with applied under that announcement got called already. I applied in mid December under the old announcement and haven't heard a peep. I updated my resume and applied for the new announcement today. Perhaps that might do the trick for us in application limbo. Good luck to all.

The good news is we're no worse about this than any other place (government or civil). Wait a couple months and people will be riled about a different set of emails du jour, and you'll have a decent shot again. There are plenty of folk with a decent head on their shoulders that have a chance to see resumes, so you'll get it on one of these tries.
Also don't challenge their rationale. Leave that for gad-flies like us. Just nod. Shut up. Re-apply.

Elevation on point. No rhyme or reason, shifting of the winds, lost in the shuffle, Atlas casts a wide net, etc. It’s Heavy Drivers for a period, Regionals the next, Compass/Trans States, Emirates, Aussies, Cathay plus military with a smattering of everything/everyone in between. It’s a system of flux hard not to take it personally, but never quit, never surrender whether it’s here or somewhere else. No better time of hiring now and on the horizon as the aviation pool dwindles. Hang in there.
*One of my best friends applied 7-8 years ago and was hired here waiting for a training date/call. Months passed and United scooped him up. Atlas never followed up as they lost him in the shuffle and I could have pushed it. After some discussion we both agree UA was a better fit family wise and other benefits of course and I am extremely happy for him as his future is set as it can be in this industry. He does admit the international would have been more fun hands down (pre CVD) as we had traveled during mil times as a crew enjoying the diversity.

So I attended the meet and greet on Thursday 27th. Did the screening interview along with a bunch of other guys. How long does it generally take to find out if you will be selected for the next stage of interviews? A couple of days?

Someone that interviewed recently may be able to help.

Did my screen over the phone but they gave me interview dates to pick from on my screen.
