I go to that AME. Never had a problem. He's a pilot himself and flys a Extra for fun on the weekends. A little bit of a wait though as he has a busy medical office.

CAT II and III he only asked a few questions on. This panel seemed very short but he managed to squeeze quiet a few questions out in that time. I hope this helps. I thank the people who put out some valuable information on here and made my decision to come here easy. It gave me a real good sense as to how things are here and how life will be. I am coming from a former long haul operation so it was a easy fit.

I agree and it amazes me that this has been the union attitude....it almost like negotiating at a used car lot with terrible credit....where does this attitude at this day in age come from?! During the next 10 years which are arguably the best time in years for airline union gains, yet we handicap them with the "stockholm syndrome" that persists within the Atlas pilot group. It seems thoroughly entrenched through most of the 10+ year guys, I've been here for 4 years and can't stand to be associated with such a lacky spineless attitude. ITs embarrassing after all the sacrifices and efforts over many years of our careers that guys here don't have i'm sorry to say a proud place to be a part of. ITs as though i'm just happy to be here and grateful to be a part of the dysfunctional ineffective pilot team and make a little $ on the side! Guys want experience in our upcoming EXCO but whats stated above is what that'll get us it seems in the fall....more of the same

You nailed it. These guys think that the current industry climate is the same as when they negotiated the first contract somehow?!? Excuses are numerous. "This is only our second contract," "you don't understand ACMI," "the company needs flexibility," and the best one of "your old company is out of business because the pilots costed too much." Hopefully we can pull it together by next year. At least more people are educated and starting to see the light lately.

100% on the spot. The best thing any one of us can do right now is try to educate fellow crewmembers. That can often be difficult because as pilots we are often narrow minded, but try to help people understand and that will go a long ways.

Hey guys, this is great info and thanks for it. But I been looking and I cannot find info on the LAX base. Can you elaborate? I believe its a 74 base, but how senior is it and are their trips any different from the other bases. Thanks!

I been applying for well over a year a still nothing and I will continue to do so... Currently RJ right seat, 2+ years of Part 135 Freight flying single pilot, B.S.Degree, 4800hrs.
