Might be because the 3 legacies listed are all taking resumes and FedEx/UPS aren't? I'm not sure but that was the case a year or so ago.

No argument there, SVA402. It is the fight that some in our group have lost, whether it is Stockholm Syndrome or not. But I am confident that those very guys will make the right choice when the time comes...if they don't, remember, it only takes one pilot (it doesn't have to be the weak-kneed guy, it can be you or me!!) to say no.

HR recommends updating every 3-6 months FYI. Naturally knowing someone on the inside, especially if they have known you for a while or have even flown with you is beneficial. And the ever important face time gained by chasing Atlas to whatever Conference or Job Fair they decide to attend, usually at the last minute too.

But no one really knows the true winning formula, they keep employees guessing as much as anyone. The only sure thing anyone can tell you is just don't give up.

Good luck and pay it forward if you gain any valuable information that could help someone else.

For those about to interview, a recommendation made from the Atlas hiring committee:

"Pilot candidates should prepare for the technical portion of the interview by studying the ATP written exam, brush up on your Jepps, runway signs and markings, and WX."

I would also add performance, as I interviewed a few weeks ago.

Oh you did huh... you know, we are currently collecting any pay-it-forward documentations of interview experiences if you (or anyone else) so desire to provide

You can wish to do it publicly but understandably be somewhat veig on your descriptions (don't use names) as these threads are shared by all, or, you can do it privately with a PM (me) for a more detailed description however you will need to build up your post arsenal to 10 I believe.

Those after you that desire employment here will be grateful!

Good job getting to the interview. Hope it went well.

Can you share any insights about the process or the day itself beyond the performance tip?

What are your stats?

Thx.

Informational note: Heard from an applicant who didn't pass the online test. It is NOT easy, not easy at all!!! Also heard about another guy who took the test who had a number of guys helping him in real time.

This is very accurate. I feel like this was the hardest part of the entire process. I would go so far as to say if you get it unexpectedly and haven't been studying your chances are not good. It's pretty critical you take it soon (they usually give some time window but say its "ok" if you go longer and they would prefer you study and pass it.) This is true but if you do that you may end up with an interview later down the road which is lost seniority. Also some sort of CRM is required whether it's help from friends or a tabbed up book or a combination, etc.
