As you're so quick to point out, being miserable at work is a personal choice.

So too in life.

Rock on.

Oh I’m not miserable lol.
Most of you are though as we’ll need to hear ad nauseum how it’s all the fault of an anti labor arbitrator.

I personally hold a 747 job offer and another offer at LLC. I was waiting to see what the CBA is going to look like to make a decision. And after seeing it, I am definitely not coming here. I am sure a lot of guys are in the same situation as me and will probably make the same decision.

Excellent, nothing more dangerous than a man with options! Decision making encompasses your priorities and lifestyle. Glad you had the latest data to make your decision. Congrats!

Just read through the fleet differences thread.... I applied a few days ago and wondering if one get to choose the airframe, and/or, would be able to hold out till the airframe you want becomes available? Hoping for 767 ONT.

The only time you’ll see JFK is doing JFK-EMA, which we do quite often. Other than that, JFK base starts with a deadhead to the plane - probably somewhere east coast - and then flying to Europe. Maybe flying back or maybe flying throughout Europe/Middle East & back to Europe.

I think they still give you a preference but if you’re pretty low time hoping for a WB, they’ll probably put you on the 737. There’s classes every 3 weeks per fleet so I can’t imagine they wouldn’t at least try to accommodate.
